The Center for Ear Nose Throat & Allergy is the region's most comprehensive resource for the treatment of sleep disordered breathing. We're here to help, whether the problem is:
- annoying snoring that keeps couples apart in separate bedrooms
- a child with snoring, bedwetting, and behavioral issues which might not be ADHD after all but obstructive sleep apnea (OSA)
- a driver whose commercial driver's license is in jeopardy because he can't stay awake on the road due to untreated OSA
- a professional whose daytime functioning is compromised by poor sleep quality
Snoring and sleep apnea are part of the same problem: narrowing and blockage of the throat from tissues which are too big, too floppy, or which relax too much during sleep. Sometimes the problem is as simple as tonsils which are too large or nasal polyps which block off the nose. More often, however, the problem is not as straightforward and requires additional work-up and treatment.
