One of the original members of the group, Dr. Blom is the world's leading expert in the vocal rehabilitation of patients who have lost their voiceboxes due to cancer. A sought-after lecturer and educator, Dr. Blom co-developed the Blom-Singer® Voice Prosthesis, which revolutionized the ability of laryngectomy patients to speak, and his numerous inventions and medical devices are recognized worldwide as the gold standards in the field. Dr. Blom works closely with CENTA physicians and hospital-based speech and swallowing therapists in the region, utilizing top-of-the-line endoscopy equipment, including video stroboscopy, flexible laryngoscopy, and transnasal esophagoscopy. Our endoscopic procedure room is hard wired to our conference room's 100-inch projection screen so that our clinic staff can view exams remotely.
